A 10 year old girl Afia Hamid Minhas (swimmer) from Pakistan won a gold medal in Manchester. She is declare the best swimmer of Pakistan in Under 12 category.

Afia:
        she is the only girl from Pakistan to win any medal and ranked 4th in 200m and her vision is to go for Olympics. She had represented Pakistan Army in National Games Pakistan in April.

Afia's Father:
                    "I am proud of my daughter and we have always wanted to promote Pakistan and Alhamdulillah my daughter have done it."

Afia's Mother:

                      I am very very happy to see my daughter winning. Her hard work is seen and we are very proud of her. A message to Pakistani parents : “if their daughters want to join this profession please allow them so that they would also go and make Pakistan proud”
